Extended Family Session | Alexandria, VA Family Photography

How often does your family get together? And when it happens, how often do you get everyone in a picture? This family is all relatively local, but capturing all members together is still a rarity. Together they were 3 family units and one set of grandparents. The 5 kids included one set of twins and one adorable baby. 

We met at Green Spring Gardens and the sky was about to open up. I quickly started clicking the twins as they were ready first and we weren’t sure what the weather was going to do. When everyone arrived we got the first family picture complete and then could focus on the other groupings. I always ask my extended family clients to provide a list of shots they would like in priority order. The weather held out and we had a great session together!
